Job description

EMPLOYER: Collibra Inc.

TITLE: Staff Platform Engineer

LOCATION: New York, NY (Option to work remotely from any location in the U.S.)

DUTIES:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the engineering ecosystem supporting cloud-based software to enable customers to optimize the Collibra platform.
2. Support development, release management, and test engineering teams by delivering tools and platforms.
3. Provide guidance, training, support, working tools, and self-service capabilities to stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a similar role, or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent plus seven (7) years of experience.

Required experience includes:

• Building scalable software applications
• Coding, developing, and testing using Java, Groovy, Golang, and/or Python
• Using Git (Bitbucket) and GitOps principles, Ansible, and Terraform
• Performing audit, compliance, security, and access recertifications
• Working with cloud vendors and security models for assessments
• Implementing security standards like STIG and CIS levels 1-3
• Researching and applying emerging technologies for application development
• Implementing infrastructure and product components using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with high security standards
• Secure deployment of SaaS systems in a multi-cloud, multi-tenant environment

SALARY:

$190,700 - $276,000 per year

HOURS:

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
