Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a senior technical leader to own the platform strategy for its partner-facing ecosystem. You will drive the architectural roadmap across federated GraphQL, RESTful APIs, SDKs, and modular frontends, while contributing hands-on in TypeScript/React and C#/.NET services.

You will mentor engineers, shape API governance, and ensure reliability, security, and observability in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineers and technical teams.
• Degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing durable APIs, including GraphQL federation and schema evolution.
• Frontend development experience with TypeScript/React and monorepos.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and architectural roadmap for the partner-facing platform.
• Lead design of scalable platform with GraphQL/REST, SDKs, micro-frontends and tooling.
• Contribute code and perform architecture reviews across TS/React front ends and C#/.NET GraphQL services.
• Establish standards for API schema, security, observability, and data modeling.
• Guide cross-team decisions on platform tooling and architecture.
