Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Staff Physician (MD/DO) for the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility in Berlin, NH. The position offers full-time hours (30-40 per week) with a guaranteed salary or hourly rate, W2 or 1099 options, and no overnight shifts.

The role requires an active NH medical license, NH DEA, and CPR certification. MD or DO degree is mandatory, with opportunity to collaborate with regional medical leadership and clinical staff to ensure quality care and patient

Qualifications

• Licensing: Current New Hampshire Medical license required at start date.
• Certification: CPR certification required at start date.
• Education: MD or DO required.

Responsibilities

• Practices medicine promoting and providing quality medical care.
• Carries out the duties a Primary Care Physician would be expected to perform in an office setting.
• Works collegially and cooperatively with the Regional Medical Director, clinical staff and medical staff.
• Acts in discussions to resolve quality of care, patient safety issues, and patient complaints at the site.
