Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Staff Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to inmates at the Concord facility, onsite in Concord, NH.

The role emphasizes consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and execution within an institutional healthcare setting. Desirable candidates hold NH medical licensure with CS and DEA credentials, and possess at least 3 years of institutional healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with psychiatry residency required.
• Current New Hampshire Medical license required at start date; NH licensure application support offered.
• Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license and NH DEA license required at start date.
• CPR certification required; hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment for inmates.
• Deliver contracted psychiatric/behavioral health services and coordinate programs.
• Serve as behavioral health liaison between Wexford Health Sources and the correctional system.

Position Summary

The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for providing consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment to inmates at their assigned correctional facility. Responsible for the delivery of contracted services, personnel, and coordination of psychiatric/behavioral health services and programs. Serves as the behavioral health liaison between Wexford Health and the correctional system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current New Hampshire Medical license required (at time of start date) *willing to help with NH licensure application
• Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license and New Hampshire DEA required (at time of start date)

CERTIFICATION: Current CPR certification required, hands on (at time of start date) EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred EDUCATION: Medical Degree with psychiatry residency required.
