Compensation

$78,000 - $100,000

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (CAPTE‑accredited)
• Current Connecticut Physical Therapist license in good standing (or eligible at time of hire)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent entry‑level degree (BSPT/MSPT accepted if licensed)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Prompt EMR or equivalent
• Strong documentation skills compliant with CMS and state regulations
• Ability to perform physical demands of patient care (standing, lifting, transferring patients)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Preferred

• 1–2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience (new graduates with strong clinical affiliations will be considered)
• Advanced training/certifications in manual therapy, orthopedics, Redcord, Sahrmann MSI, or Anatomy Trains concepts
• Experience with balance/proprioceptive training, gait analysis, and functional movement retraining
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel for documentation and communication
• Interest in continuing education, research, teaching, or community outreach
• Ability to supervise and mentor PTAs, aides, and students
