At Connecticut Physical Therapy Specialists, we believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional clinicians. We're hiring for a Staff Physical Therapist job in Glastonbury, CT, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about evidence‑based care, clinical collaboration, and helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes. In this role, you'll combine hands‑on treatment with thoughtful clinical decision‑making while working alongside colleagues who value integrity, accountability, and professional growth. Whether you're building on outpatient experience or bringing strong clinical preparation as a newer graduate, you'll find an environment where your expertise is respected and your development is supported.
Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of people recovering from musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. Through comprehensive evaluations that assess strength, mobility, motor control, and cardiopulmonary function, you'll develop individualized treatment plans designed to help patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Your care will blend evidence‑based practice with practical problem‑solving. Treatment may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional training, patient education, and instruction in the use of assistive devices. You'll also develop personalized home exercise programs that help patients continue progressing between visits and support long‑term success beyond the clinic.
Collaboration is central to the way we care for patients. You'll work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary providers to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care. Therapists interested in expanding their impact may also contribute to staff education, community outreach, research initiatives, or program development. You'll use EMR systems such as Prompt EMR or similar platforms, along with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, to support efficient documentation and communication. If you're committed to lifelong learning and delivering outstanding patient care, you'll find a supportive team ready to help you succeed.
