Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Immunization certification preferred; assistance may be available to obtain it.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Willingness to float within ~30 minutes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients.
• Administer immunizations and support pharmacy-based clinical services.
• Review prescriptions for interactions, contraindications, allergies, and dosing.
• Collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication concerns.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Support pharmacy technicians and promote efficient workflow.
• Assist with inventory management and medication availability.
• Deliver professional, compassionate service to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
