Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a pharmacy program with licensure in New Jersey.
• 1–2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all state and federal regulations and site policies for pharmaceutical care.
• Reviews and verifies all medications before dispensing; checks allergies, interactions, and appropriateness.
• Oversees dispensing, chain of custody, and accountability of controlled substances.
• Ensures adherence to USP 795, 797, and 800 standards for sterile/nonsterile compounding and hazardous drugs.
• Supervises ancillary pharmacy staff and training of students/interns.
