Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by relevant board; PharmD or Baccalaureate degree required.
• Current and valid registration and licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pharmacy operations under the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Supervise personnel in absence of the PIC; participate in dispensing and verification.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications accurately for all ages.
• Maintain records for medications and supplies and ensure inventory control.
• Comply with patient care quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Counsel patients and provide general drug information as needed.
