Job summary

Janus Rx is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to work under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge, assisting with prescription fulfillment, verification, and dispensing according to all standards and regulations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accuracy, and adherence to HIPAA and quality standards across all patient ages. The staff pharmacist will participate in educational activities and support the pharmacy workflow as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy; PharmD or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and verifies drug distribution tasks in the absence of the PIC.
• Prepares, labels, and dispenses medications per physician orders.
• Interprets medication orders, monitors drug regimens, and intervenes when necessary.
• Assists with adherence packaging and patient education.
• Maintains accurate medication records and supports quality standards.
