Cub Pharmacy in Freeport is seeking a people-centered Staff Pharmacist to join our team. You will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while efficiently managing pharmacy operations and ensuring accurate dispensing.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and clerks in compliance with state and federal laws, HIPAA, and store policies. You will participate in clinical programs and audits to support safe, quality care.

Formación

• Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
• Must pass the NAPLEX.
• Must pass the State MPJE.
• Must hold a valid state license.
• Meets all requirements of and maintains status as a Certified Immunizer.
• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Must complete required state, federal and company training programs (HIPAA, CDR, I-pledge).
• Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting and recording.

Responsabilidades

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service through patient care standards.
• Assists customers with OTC recommendations and product location.
• Fills prescriptions in compliance with laws, counts, labels and audits.
• Offers professional consultation in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians, grad interns and clerks.
• Maintains state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Follows Medicare/Medicaid and third-party plans and participates in audits.
• HIPAA compliance and dispensing of over-the-counter drugs.
• Accesses patient records and verifies third party plan parameters.
• Orders product from distribution center as necessary.
• Maintains inventory and trains staff as required.
