Job summary

Cub Pharmacy in Northside is seeking a people-centric Staff Pharmacist to join our team. You will ensure accurate prescription dispensing, provide patient counseling, and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns in line with state and federal laws.

This role emphasizes prompt, friendly service, efficient operations, and adherence to HIPAA and store policies. The successful candidate must hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, pass NAPLEX and MPJE, and maintain an active state license; immunizer

Qualifications

Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
Must pass the NAPLEX.
Must pass the State MPJE.
Must hold a valid state license.
Certified Immunizer status and continuing education as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service through patient care standards.
Assists customers by offering OTC recommendations and product guidance.
Fills prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies; labels and audits.
Offers professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Supervises pharmacy technicians and abides by regulatory training and licensure.
Responds to telephone requests requiring pharmacist expertise; maintains HIPAA compliance.
