Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is looking for a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and ensure the safe utilization of medications. Candidates must hold a BS degree in Pharmacy and be licensed in New Jersey. Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred, along with knowledge of USP regulations. Qualifications

• Graduate of an APCE accredited school of pharmacy.
• Minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.
• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution.
• Ensure safe and effective utilization of medications.
• Dispense and monitor medication therapy in accordance with regulations.

The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services ensuring the safe and effective utilization of medications. The Pharmacist is responsible for the dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Graduate of an APCE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

1.1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
2.Knowledge of principles of USP 795, 797, and 800.
3.EPIC experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. NJ Licensed Registered Pharmacist.
