A retail pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced environment. This direct hire position offers a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts, totaling 69 bi-weekly hours, with an immediate start.

Responsibilities include maintaining a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate departmental strategies. The pharmacist will ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks aligned with state and federal regulations. Managing inventory, controlling costs, and working toward script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) are key duties.

This role also involves supervising pharmacists and pharmacy staff, directing training and development, handling customer inquiries and complaints to build trust, and maintaining the pharmacy’s cleanliness and security. The pharmacist will interact with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues while prioritizing tasks like inventory management and cycle counts.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current, valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
