Job summary

CVS Health staff pharmacists play a critical role in delivering patient-centered care at our pharmacy locations in Arizona. You will guide the team, ensure safe dispensing, and support immunizations and clinical services while maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and the ability to manage daily operations as the pharmacist-on-duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as the primary pharmacist-on-duty when needed.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Support immunization delivery and patient counseling to improve health outcomes.
• Coach and develop pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Engage with patients and partners to resolve insurance and medication issues.
