Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations and deliver patient‑centered care in our New York retail location. You will supervise the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, counsel patients, and support immunization services while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, an active NPI, and ability to manage day‑to‑day duties as the pharmacist on duty.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling as a Staff Pharmacist.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager as proxy during bench shifts.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Lead pharmacy team to deliver compassionate patient care and immunization services.
• Manage inventory with focus on cold chain products and patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues.
• Maintain required clinical and technical competencies through ongoing trainings.
