CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and model a culture of excellence within the pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

This role emphasizes immunizations, patient counseling, and collaboration with the broader healthcare team. The Staff Pharmacist will manage duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, maintain compliance with state regulations, and coach staff to improve performance

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, verify prescription information for accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner, understand patients' reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues, active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate tablet counts, days’ supply, and bottle quantities.
• Issue Resolution: address challenging interactions with appropriate action.
• Physical Demands: withstand extended periods standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, frequent movement and manual dexterity.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
