As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Help manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager by overseeing pharmacy operations during bench shifts, coaching staff, and providing performance feedback.
  • Assume Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
  • Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, following workflow procedures and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy and genuine care, collaborating with healthcare teams and resolving insurance or medication issues.
  • Proactively offer immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in immunization procedures.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory effectively, focusing on cold chain products and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling and support a safe, inclusive team environment.
  • Keep clinical and technical skills up-to-date through training and continuing education.
  • Support clinical services like testing and prescribing where permissible to improve patient outcomes.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and privacy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Additional Requirements
  • Regular attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and physical ability to perform job duties
