Staff Pharmacist Full-Time | Contract-to-Perm
Location: Fairfield, OH
Job Type: Full-Time, 13-Week Contract with Potential for Permanent Position

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join a thriving pharmacy team in Fairfield, OH. This is a full-time position offering a 13-week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. Shift Details:

• First Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Second Shift Options:

  • 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

  • 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and data entry staff to ensure accuracy in medication preparation, workflow management, and adherence to safety protocols

• Ensure all new prescriptions are screened for proper dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing

• Manage controlled substance handling, including ordering, storage, and maintaining accurate records for Schedule II drugs

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure effective delivery schedules and pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• A valid and active Ohio Pharmacist license is required

• Previous experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is advantageous

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a team in a dynamic, high-pressure setting
