Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to support our pharmacy team at a CVS location in Texas. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and immunize where permissible, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will help lead the team during shifts, oversee workflow, and coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliant operations and excellent patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices to ensure patient safety.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy during shifts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Support inventory management and protect cold chain products.
• Deliver compassionate care and collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team.
