MDS Staffing seeks a Staff Pharmacist for a long-term care pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, IA. This full-time role offers a rewarding environment focused on patient care within a closed-door setting.

You will verify orders, supervise dispensing, and collaborate with care teams to resolve medication questions while supporting IV/TPN preparation and daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active Iowa pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated professional with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication questions and provide clinical guidance.
