Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a long-term care pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, IA.

This full-time role focuses on patient care within a closed-door setting and involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective medication use. The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, possess an active Iowa license or be able to obtain one, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Participate in IV and TPN preparation.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient care.
