Job summary

Third Street Family Health Services is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care in a mission-driven setting. You will ensure safe dispensing, collaborate with clinicians, lead pharmacy staff, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while supporting the team and patients in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes clinical guidance, teamwork, and ongoing improvement to meet the needs of diverse communities served by the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy is required; Pharm.D. preferred.
• Ohio Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist (RPh) License is required.
• Board Certification in Pharmaceutical Care is preferred.
• Immunization Training is required.
• 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, and compliant medication dispensing and pharmacy operations.
• Counsel patients and caregivers and support positive medication outcomes.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams on prescriptions, alternative therapies, and prior authorizations.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and 340B requirements.
• Maintain effective medication inventory, procurement, and security processes.
• Provide clinical guidance and day-to-day leadership to pharmacy staff.
• Coach and develop team members while promoting quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Help create a safe, welcoming pharmacy experience for every patient.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required (Pharm.D. preferred,)
• Ohio Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist (RPh) License
• Board Certification in Pharmaceutical Care preferred;
• Immunization Training required
• Experience: 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacist;
• Certificate/License: Current state license(s) and controlled substance license to practice pharmacy in the State of Ohio. Ability to maintain complaint credentialing status
