Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a full-time daytime schedule (9 AM–5:30 PM). This 100% employee-owned closed-door pharmacy serves individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, offering collaborative clinical practice without retail interruptions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, direct collaboration with prescribers and care teams, and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree is required.
• Active Missouri Pharmacist License or ability to obtain before starting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Collaborative, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassion for the individuals and care teams we serve.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses and direct support professionals.
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns.
• Maintain accurate MAR information for caregivers.
• Administer long-acting injectable medications as needed.
• Participate in medication reviews and other clinical initiatives.
• Work alongside your pharmacy team to provide accurate, timely care.
