Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in our retail pharmacy. This role emphasizes accurate prescription filling, patient education, and teamwork with pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, compliant service.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate/BS in Pharmacy, active license, and immunization certification, with experience in a fast-paced community setting. Meijer offers growth opportunities and work-life balance within a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed/Registered in the practicing state.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist recommended (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians; hold them accountable for results.
• Educate and mentor technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team to perform at the highest level.
• Oversee clinical services, including immunizations where permitted.
• In pharmacist-in-charge absence, manage pharmacy operations.
