As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and improving patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, coaching staff, and providing performance feedback.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures.
• Providing compassionate patient care, resolving insurance and medication issues, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Proactively offering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization procedures.
• Managing inventory, especially cold chain products, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Ensuring pharmacy compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
• Maintaining flexibility for scheduling and business needs, supporting team dynamics, and assisting with scheduling as needed.
• Keeping clinical and technical skills current, seeking knowledge expansion opportunities.
• Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permissible to improve patient outcomes.
• Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards to ensure safety and privacy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Additional Requirements

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, mathematical reasoning, issue resolution, and physical ability to perform job duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Flexibility to work at different locations as needed.

Additional Details

• Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
• Pay range: $65.00 - $79.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
