As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and showing authentic, genuine care for our patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading the pharmacy team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Helping manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations
• Supporting the Pharmacy Manager by overseeing pharmacy operations during shifts and coaching team members
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty
• Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures
• Providing compassionate patient care and resolving insurance or medication issues
• Offering and administering immunizations and supporting technicians in immunization training
• Managing pharmacy inventory, especially cold chain products
• Ensuring compliance with state regulations and escalating issues as needed
• Maintaining flexibility for scheduling and business needs, supporting a positive team environment
• Keeping clinical and technical skills current and seeking growth opportunities
• Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permitted
• Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and a respectful workplace

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Preferred Qualifications

Work Details

• Anticipated weekly hours: 40
• Full-time position
• Pay range: $65.00 - $79.00 per hour, depending on experience and location
