Job description

Immediate need for a talented Staff Pharmacist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote).

Pay Range: $64.79/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review each plan's policy to determine medication coverage.
• Provide clinical support and oversight for all utilization management activities.
• Finalize all denials of clinical prior authorization requests.
• Serve as a clinical resource for drug therapy questions within the Coverage Review Department.
• Utilize multiple systems and clinical resources to make informed decisions in utilization management reviews.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure a customer-centric experience.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Proficient technical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications required.
• 2+ years of lead/supervisor or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge.
• Ability to make decisions quickly, often with limited information.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy/Pharmaceuticals preferred.
