Responsibilities include reviewing policies, finalizing denials, and supporting drug therapy questions. Requires a licensed pharmacist, a pharmacy degree, and strong Microsoft Office skills, with 2+ years of leadership or retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading teams or supervising staff preferred.
• Experience with utilization management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review policy to determine medication coverage.
• Provide clinical support for utilization management activities.
• Finalize denials of clinical prior authorization requests.
• Serve as clinical resource for drug therapy questions.
• Utilize systems to inform utilization management reviews.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure customer-centric service.
