Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Spokane pharmacy team. You will counsel customers, review prescriptions for safety and legality, and provide compassionate care that supports the community’s wellbeing.

You’ll ensure accurate dispensing, maintain pharmacy organization, and participate in health screenings and basic clinical services. Strong customer focus and attention to detail are essential to deliver trusted healthcare at our stores.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid pharmacist license.
• Prior pharmacist experience preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the pharmacy.
• Review and fill physician prescriptions for legality.
• Interpret customer needs and provide information and advice.
• Keep the pharmacy organized for efficient product lookup.
• Control delivery, stocking, and labeling of medicines and products.
• Monitor medicine condition to prevent expiry.
• Assist with injections, blood pressure and other checks.
• Prepare medicines with correct dosages.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings.
• Maintain patient history records and medication activities.
• Follow all legal rules and ensure a safe, clean workplace.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and greet customers when approaching or leaving the pharmacy.
• Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
• Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
• Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of medicine and products easier and faster.
• Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products.
• Monitor the condition of medicine and other products to prevent expiring or deterioration.
• Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
• Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings. Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other administrative tasks when needed and assigned.
