Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets, Inc. invites you to join our pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician. Under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will support daily pharmacy operations and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities include verifying patient information, processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while delivering accurate, timely care to customers. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a team that values community and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer any questions they may have.
• Verify the accuracy of patient information.
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity.
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims.)
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory.
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned.
• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
