Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. is seeking a Part-time Pharmacist to provide expert medication guidance, ensure safe dispensing, and support overall community health. You will counsel patients, review prescriptions, and contribute to a welcoming pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with store teams, with responsibilities including health screenings, injections support, and wellness education for customers.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with valid license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to Lewiston, ID if needed.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers at the pharmacy and assist with their needs.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Provide information and counseling on medications.
• Organize the pharmacy to locate medicines quickly.
• Maintain control of dispensing, stocking, and labeling.
• Monitor medication conditions to prevent expiry.
• Support health services such as injections and vitals.
• Keep patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional admin tasks as needed.

Work Schedule:

Part-time, as needed

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and greet customers when approaching or leaving the pharmacy.
• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
• Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
• Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of medicine and products easier and faster.
• Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products.
• Monitor the condition of medicine and other products to prevent expiring or deterioration.
• Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
• Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings. Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other administrative tasks when needed and assigned.

Requirements

• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist
• Ability to travel to Lewiston, ID if needed
