Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets in Moscow, ID is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care, review prescriptions, offer counseling and ensure safe medication use. You’ll help customers with questions, manage inventory, and support other pharmacy services.

Candidates will hold a valid pharmacist license, bring prior pharmacy experience, and deliver compassionate, accurate service in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with active license required.
• Customer-facing role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers at the pharmacy.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Listen to customers to interpret needs and provide information.
• Organize the pharmacy to improve efficiency and product identification.
• Maintain control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicines.
• Monitor medicine and product conditions to prevent expiration.
• Assist with injections, blood pressure, and other wellness checks.
• Prepare medicines with correct dosages for patients.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings and educate on medication use.
• Keep patient history records and document activities with medications.
• Follow all legal rules and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Work Schedule: Part-time, as needed

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and greet customers when approaching or leaving the pharmacy.
• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
• Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
• Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of medicine and products easier and faster.
• Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products.
• Monitor the condition of medicine and other products to prevent expiring or deterioration.
• Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
• Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings. Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other administrative tasks when needed and assigned.
