Summary

The Pharmacist ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and overseeing patient interactions. They contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, maintain a clean work environment, and complete necessary continuing education to uphold professional standards.

• Complies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Prepares and dispenses prescription medications, maintains necessary records, manages third-party adjudication and patient charges, and inventory.
• Counsels patients and healthcare providers regarding drug use, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
• Participates in patient-centered services including immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Supervises pharmacy personnel and ensures compliance with regulations and policies.
• Provides guidance and training to interns, technicians, and associates, monitoring performance.
• Maintains a neat, organized workstation at all times.
• Completes required continuing education as mandated by law.
• Achieves financial goals related to sales, profit maximization, and expense minimization.
• Maintains security of all controlled substances.

Salary: $50.00 - $72.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Same as above, emphasizing compliance, dispensing, counseling, supervision, and financial responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 21 years old.
• Willing to submit to DL Monitoring.

Education and Experience

• 5-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems.
• Effective communication skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements and Equipment Used

• Pharmacy computer, case cutter, marking gun, cash register, pill counter.
