Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our patient-focused pharmacy team.

You will fill prescriptions accurately, build trusting relationships with patients and staff, and mentor pharmacy technicians toward higher performance. In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, you will oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state regulations while maintaining quality patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in the state.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively and be an agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Listen to the patient and resolve needs.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
