Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Medical Center is seeking a Staff Pharmacist who can communicate clearly and educate healthcare providers and patients. You will interpret and evaluate medication orders for MLHS patients, consult with clinicians to optimize drug therapy, and supervise Technicians to ensure accurate compounding and timely administration.

This full-time, day shift (7a–3:30p) position includes tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, up to 200 hours of paid time off, free employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required; reciprocity considered for new grads if licensure completes within 90 days.

Position:

Staff Pharmacist

Shift:

day shift position 7a-3:30pm, every 4th weekend and holidays

Experience:

• 1. One year of work in hospital Pharmacy where IV admixtures, automated distribution functions, and clinical counseling were employed is preferred.
• 2. Work history with good to excellent record in organization, accuracy, quality and quantity of work and attendance is required.

Education:

• 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
• 2. Clinical clerkships, residencies and specialties in hospital-oriented environments preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• A current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
• Recent graduates and pharmacists eligible for reciprocity will be considered as long as licensure is complete before the end of the 90-day probationary period.
