Qualifications:
  • 1 year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional and sanitary work environment to uphold the department's image.
  • Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating friendliness and cooperativeness.
  • Adhere to scheduled hours and meet punctuality requirements.
  • Fulfill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, providing counseling and clinical care as needed.
  • Utilize RX computer systems for prescription processing and clinical interventions.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including HIPAA, DEA, and fraud prevention policies.
  • Monitor inventory, equipment operation, and progress toward budget goals.
  • Ensure all policies regarding security, sanitation, and record-keeping are followed.
  • Stay informed about local market conditions and store promotions to enhance sales.
  • Continuously develop pharmacy skills and knowledge.
  • Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
