Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Desired qualifications:

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities include:

• Fulfilling customers' prescription needs with accuracy
• Administering vaccines as needed
• Providing patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensuring pharmacy compliance with all laws, including HIPAA
• Maintaining a professional image and adhering to standards
• Monitoring stock, inventory, policies, record-keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, and equipment operation
• Maintaining proper records and security for scheduled drugs
• Handling pharmacy products from authorized sources
• Utilizing accuracy tools appropriately
• Establishing and maintaining legal and company record-keeping practices
• Keeping a clean and organized work area
• Handling product returns timely and per policy
• Maintaining equipment and reference materials
• Ensuring proper signage in all areas
