Strata Critical Recovery (formerly Keystone Perfusion) seeks a Staff Perfusionist to join Baptist Health Lexington's busy cardiac program in Lexington, KY. The role involves performing perfusion responsibilities, supporting CABG/valve/aortic repair with occasional ECMO, and ensuring equipment safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) is required.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification is required.
• Safe and effective operation of cardiac perfusion equipment.
• Infection control practices related to equipment operation.
• Maintaining a safe environment and infection prevention standards are essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform all aspects of perfusion-related services in collaboration with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing administration.
• Support a case mix of primarily CABG, valve, and aortic repair procedures, with occasional ECMO.
• Ensure safe operation and quality control of equipment, techniques, and procedures.
• Coordinate purchasing of supplies and equipment to maximize efficient utilization.
• Contribute to departmental planning goals and objectives, assisting the director as needed.
• Maintain quality improvement programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation (20% share across five perfusionists).
