Strata Critical Recovery (formerly Keystone Perfusion) seeks a Staff Perfusionist to join a collaborative multi-site cardiac team serving community hospitals in the Hampton Roads region of coastal Virginia. The float role rotates between regional accounts, handling around 150 open heart procedures annually.

Location: Multiple sites in Hampton Roads. Compensation ranges from $145,000 to $185,000 depending on experience, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program.
• ABCP Certified (or board eligible).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary bypass and autotransfusion.
• Manage IABP and minimal ECMO support.
• CABG and valve surgeries (~150 procedures annually).
• Float between community hospital accounts across the Hampton Roads region.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing teams.
• Uphold best practices in equipment safety, infection control, and patient care.
• Assist with quality control and departmental development.

As a float perfusionist, you'll rotate between community hospital accounts across the region, keeping your practice dynamic while enjoying a manageable volume of approximately 150 open heart procedures annually.

Compensation: $145,000–$185,000 depending on experience +$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: Days + On-Call Rotation
