Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks a Staff Paralegal in the Professional Standards group to support corporate compliance, recordkeeping, and licensing requirements across U.S. and international jurisdictions.

The role involves coordinating entity maintenance, deadlines, due diligence, and governance materials while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a deadline-driven, global firm environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Four or more years of experience in paralegal, corporate legal support, compliance, or professional responsibility roles.
  • Law firm experience preferred, especially in professional standards, risk management, or corporate legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate entity maintenance, registered agents, annual filings, and foreign qualifications.
  • Familiarity with attorney licensing requirements and bar admission processes.
  • Experience with compliance tracking and legal tech platforms such as IntApp is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support corporate entity maintenance and compliance activities across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
  • Manage filing requirements, deadlines, registered agent coordination, and corporate records to maintain entity good standing.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate documents, including formation records, resolutions, amendments, and governance materials.
  • Conduct corporate research, due diligence, and compliance reviews to support firm initiatives and transactions.
  • Support attorney departure processes by coordinating compliance activities across internal teams and maintaining confidential records.
  • Manage attorney licensing, including renewals, registrations, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare compliance reports and provide accurate information to support the firm's internal legal team and firm leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to maintain accurate records and resolve compliance matters.
