Job summary

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks an Oracle EBS DBA to join our IT team. You will administer EBS 12.2 environments, perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations, and work with developers on deployments and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Experience with EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Java, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Knowledge of AI technologies, Generative AI, AI‑assisted operations, or AI‑driven database monitoring and automation.
• Mandarin Chinese language proficiency strongly preferred.
