Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital is seeking a Circulating/Scrub/Endoscopy RN to provide perioperative nursing care across the surgical continuum. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality procedures.

The role requires California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of OR or acute care experience.

Formación

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification with basic EKG/arrhythmia identification competency.
• Minimum one (1) year of Operating Room or acute care nursing experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and following procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Prepare the surgical suite, equipment, instruments, and supplies for assigned procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique, surgical asepsis, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team during procedures.
• Perform and document surgical counts and ensure appropriate handling, labeling, and management of specimens.
• Administer medications and treatments safely within the RN scope of practice.
• Provide patient and family education and communicate appropriate handoff information throughout the surgical continuum.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality and performance improvement activities.

Provides nursing care to patients throughout the surgical continuum, functioning as a Circulating, Scrub, and/or Endoscopy RN. Job Type: Full-time, Variable

Pay: $68-$89/hour
