Job summary

Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister, CA is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department RN to provide direct patient care during nights. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor responses in a fast-paced ED.

This role requires active CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS certifications, and at least one year of acute and ED experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required department competencies and orientation.
• Strong English communication; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate patient care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and participate in performance improvement activities.

Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Assesses patient needs, develops and implements individualized plans of care, responds to changes in clinical condition, and collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality emergency care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum one (1) year of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required department competencies and orientation.
• Basic computer skills; triage experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, Nights

Pay: $68-$89/hour
