Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the PACU swing shift at our Weill Cornell center. You will transform lives by delivering perioperative care, leading recoveries, and advocating for patients within our collaborative clinical teams.

The role emphasizes excellence, professionalism, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position requires a BSN, NY RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; on-site presence is required with a 2:00pm–2:30am

Qualifications

• BSN degree required for RN licensure in NY.
• New York State Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care and lead recoveries in PACU.
• Collaborate within close-knit clinical teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Adapt to a flexible swing shift schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

This is a full‑time swing shift position working 2:00pm-2:30am with rotating weekends, holidays and call. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous experience in PACU or critical care in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS from American Heart Association
