Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a Per Diem Staff Nurse in the PACU at Weill Cornell Medical Center, based in New York, NY. You will be a patient advocate, care for families, and contribute to high-quality post-anesthesia care on a rotating schedule.

Join a collaborative team delivering pain management, clinical assessment and vital information to multidisciplinary colleagues. Requires a BSN, NY RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS.

• BLS, ACLS, PALS from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the PACU following surgery.
• Advocate for patients and families and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous experience in PACU or critical care in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS from American Heart Association
