Summary

We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our OB Resource Pool team. This position will be cross‑trained to work/float in OBGYN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and NICU. It is a 0.9 FTE (6 shifts/pay period), 12‑hour shifts, nights, every third weekend plus on‑call per unit policy. NOTE: This role will also be trained as a charge nurse.

• Partner with the patient, their family, and significant others.
• Document interventions and an individualized plan of care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent maternal health professional nursing (RN) experience –or
• 2 years of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota.
• Preferred: Certification in area of clinical specialty.
• Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Nursing) degree.
• Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
