North Shore Healthcare's SoldiersGrove Health Services is seeking a licensed RN or LPN for a part-time 1st shift. Under the supervision of the Unit Manager, you will provide nursing care to residents, perform assessments, implement plans of care, and ensure safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to nursing standards. We offer a new wage scale: up to $34/hr for LPN and $44/hr for RN, with shift differentials and every third weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed in Wisconsin as an RN or LPN.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to use nursing supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication cart, etc.).
• Meets health requirements by law.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families and staff.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Post-acute care experience preferred.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN/LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementations, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN/LPN adheres to the standards of care for the area, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers. Follows all North Shore’s policies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows where applicable JCAHO standards.

Requirements of the Position:

• Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Must have and maintain current CPR certification
• Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Meets all health requirements imposed by law
• Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous post-acute care experience preferred
