Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing or higher and Iowa license by hire date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theory to assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate patient responses.
• Develop patient care plans based on observations and assessments.
• Collaborate with patient and family to integrate information into the care plan.
• Evaluate the quality of nursing care provided by other staff.
• Be responsible and accountable for the provision of care for patients, protecting rights and confidentiality.
