NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking a Staff Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient assessment and multidisciplinary care coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, at least 1 year in emergency nursing, NY RN license, and certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS) with TNCC/CEN/ENPC/TPEN preferred. Night shift, full-time.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in emergency care.
• Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• TNCC, CEN, ENPC, TPEN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess patient conditions in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with paramedics, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as induced hypothermia and digital radiology.
• Provide comfort and support to families during emergencies.
